This statement drives me absolutly nuts. I hear this from women all the time. Does this irritate anyone else? Some women are so stupid. What are they thinking! Children are a life-time commitment to both the mother and the father/sperm doner if you will.

For you women our there please READ all the stuff here from kids missing/longing for their biological fathers. THINK before you get pregnant. The MARRIAGE is just a PARTY, a ceremony--you won't have a party, but will go through 9 months of pregnancy, push out a baby--it is painful by the way--have to raise the child FOREVER, and the father is never out of your life because you will have the living proof in front of you--his child/children. The fun part, marriage is a legal contract/party that protects any children involved. They will have rights to both parents.

Wise up you silly women/girls out there. Think of your kids for a change. Choosing a good father is the most important thing for your child. Big responsibility!!

Even if the parents are not married, the children have the same rights, marriage does not protect these rights. You are assuming that people out wedlock do not think of their children...which is a total generalization. I know many single parents and married parents, and some of the single parents devout their total love and dedication to their child/children. Some of the married parents don't. A marriage doesn't guarantee that children will be wanted, free of disappointment, loved unconditionally, and respected. I think you need to take your blinders off and see a wider view of single parents and not be so judgmental.

Come on now you might not like something or the way things are. You will be judged as you judge others on judgment day. I am a single mother and my daughter is fine. I was young when I got married. We learn as we grow that's what makes us who we are today. I wouldn't go around saying that I would have a child with someone but wouldn't marry them. Sex is something you share with you're husband not you're friend or someone you like or think is cute.
