Why is that so hard to step forward to the future with another new person?

I have a problems that i never want to discuss with anybody because its just useless.but then after time by time it cant be solve by my self,i have a boy friends before and he is younger than me and we are have a different religion and different culture also.and after we try to have a good relation ship there is always problem from my family,i cant just hold on and i cant break with him.untill my friends that one college with him told me about his affair with another girl,i was so desperate about this i dont know i just want to scream out loud,but i cant.i know hes doing this because there is to much problem in our relation ship.i dont know what happen untill 2 months i never have comunication with him,im trying so hard to fallin love with another man,but is useless i always dream about him,thinking about him sometimes i just cant hold on.im write a letter for him but i never send it,i want to meet him but i dont want,what should i do,should i come back and he can do it again,or.......
