Amino suppliments are definetly better than Creatine for the following reasons. It can be taken for continously for body building as well as for other requirements of the body, without any adverse side effects safely.

Creatine-
With its promises of bigger muscles and improved athletic performance, creatine has generated more interest and controversy than almost any other dietary supplement.
A slight weight gain due to water retention is probably the most common side effect. Nausea, cramping, dehydration, diarrhea, and increased blood pressure have also been reported.
To avoid possible side effects, creatine should not be taken immediately before or during exercise.Drink plenty of fluids (six to eight glasses a day) while using creatine in order to prevent dehydration.-

Creatine can be used forever with preety much no ill effects, but you must drink alot more water

There are NO dangerous side effects to creatine. Taking amino acids is swell and all but that would specificly benefit ANYONE while creatine specificly enhances the muscles and increases the number of reps possible and THUS making your body look bigger due to more reps.
The best builders would use them in tandem.

some people react negatively to creatine....so amino acids would be the way to go...much better bang for your buck
