My adopted parents don't have any information, and I just would like to know some information on my real family.

I was in this exact same situation. I sent a letter of inquiry to the adoption agency my mom went through. Your parents will at least know that. The agency should have your file. They probably can't give you any identifying info of your birth parents but they can help you do a search for them. It will probably cost some money to do the search (in my case it was about $300). Luckily, my biological mom kept her address updated in hopes that I would someday try to find her. I finally met her about a year ago. Good luck!!

I'm in that same situation. I've put my name on every registry out there but no luck. I got non-id from the adoption agency, but it will not tell you who the people are. It's very frustrating at times. The info I have isn't even all the great to be able to lead me to anything good. I only know basics like their religion, height, race, etc. My biological father wasn't even told about me at all. I also found out the I was the second child born to a single mother. My half brother is still in the family. I would like to know who I am. I've finally hired a private investigator. You can also try a search angel if you don't have the money. Just goole the word "search angels" and you should find something helpful. Some searches take a hours while others take years. It all depends on what good info the adoption agency gives you and if your biological parents left any good info that would make them easy to locate. Good luck! Myself and many others understand what you're going through.

i just found my birth parents 3 weeks ago, 1st look up the vital record page for the state you were born . you can print off a form for most to order your original birth certificate. make sure you get the adoptee page or they will send you the one with your adopted parents. then fill it out along with a check or money order for the fee, (my fee was 20$) send it in. I called the phone # for alabama vital records when i sent mine in, they were so nice i told them my name and to please send it asap and i got it in about 10 days it was suppose to take 6 weeks. good luck dood i will pray for you. when you get it beware of the sites that jack you for your $. i found my mom because of her maiden name and i new what county i had been a foster, talk to your adopted parents and get all the info you can, write it down, cause those hours after you get the real birth certificate are stressful. have a friend with you too, thank god i did. i found my mom in 8 hours on the net. usa search whitepages.com were good she was happy to hear from me , i'm sure your mom will be too, and to the guy that left the mean message you are a jerk you really need therapy i will pray for you also.
