You are actually on to something hear. Most people can't fathom it is our choice to feel a broken heart. So yes we do this to ourselves. We can choose to not be hurt anytime we like.

I wouldn't let someone..but some people do it even if you don't let them so what can you really do to not let someone break your heart?

there are two situations:
your bf/gf cheating on you
or you having a major crush on someone, possibly older, when you know full well they don't know you even exist.........
hell no to the first situation.
i dont think ppl can escape the second one, its your hormones, noone wants to have their heart broken, but noone wants to forget, do they?

for me if breaking my heart would make them feel better.
sure.. why not.. Heck I can take it.. Then the next day comes and you go on....

id probably be so mad i wished i broke their heart first, but then i wouldnt care and id make myself go on.
