I've been living and travelling to China for 7 years. There are not 10 reasons for Shanghai.. You can tour and do just about everything is 2 days. Beijing is the best place to visit if you are looking for the best China tour and have time issues.
1. Bund 2. Nanjing Road 3. Yu Garden 4. French Quarter 5. Culture Museum 6. Jade Buddha 7. Mao Ming Road 8. Pearl Tower Tour

I have lived in Shanghai for four months.
1. Great shopping
2. A lot of different architecure, french, art deco modern.
3. It is a crazy modern city always on the go.
4. Hangzhou is two hours away by train very nice.
I think you can only spend a couple of days in Shanghai. Some of the areas close by are interesting.

Shanghai, exquisite, fashionable, flourishing, international, is the biggest city in China mainland. It is called “Paris of the East ”.you can enjoy profound modern culture and many historical sites there. More reasons you can find at the link given below.

I have lived in Shanghai for 3 1/2 years and I recommend 10 good reasons:
1. Great shopping - lots of shopping malls
2. Beautiful sceneries, especially outside Shanghai
3. Water Village - very interesting place to visit
4. Modern architecture
5. Cheap imitation branded stuff everywhere
6. Many pubs and cafes along Maoming Lu (Road)
7. Many restaurants - Western/Chinese/Eastern/Asian/You name it, you have it!! Very expensive too.
8. Cheap Chinese girls everywhere - Guys wouldn't be disappointed at all. The girls practically seduce you outright!!
9. Cultural shocks - very shocking for me....manners - forget it!!! Spitting everywhere!!! Cut queue...very common!!!
10. Rude people - you have to come and experience yourself.
There you go....the 10 good and bad reasons why you should visit Shanghai. See for yourself to believe it!!!

u haven't been there. OMG. I've been there so many times.
1. Great Food
2. Great shopping
3. cheap prices
4. Great museums
5. Great Sightseeing
6.Beautiful sight at night with all those lights.
7.Transportation is really easy.
8.Many things u find there that u cannot find in the U.S.
9. Culture is amazin
10.u get to experience something new
