How about one fantastic reason?
I strongly recommend the take the DMZ tour.
This is an escorted tour to the Demilitarized Zone, that separates North from South Korea.
You will come face to face with North Koreans, who are trained from birth to hate you, and will kill you without hesitation if told to do so.
You will get goosebumps numerous times while there.
I have taken this tour previously; it's spooky !!
But, it's very informative. If you're lucky on the day you go, you might be able to stand on the North Korean side (inside) of the building which held the Armistice talks.
You will constantly have North Korean Guards stare at you with hatred in their eyes.
If the opportunity presents itself, definitely purchase for yourself one of the DMZ Barbwire Plaques. These were issued on the 50th Anniversary of the beginning of the Korean War. Be sure you get one with a serial number!!
I believe they will become extremely valuable once North Korea implodes upon itself.

Going around Korea is good,the ambiance and the beauty of nature.The difficulty there is that koreans can't speak english,you may difficult while communicating with them.

you like spas? they're everywhere.. and cheap!
you like nature? it's what you'll get the moment you step out of the airport, with technology that is not neglected. you can even find a trash can in the middle of a mountain.
you like spicy food? or you got a taste for something wild yet healthy? welcome to my world.
unless you like the sea.. then korea's not for you.
