As long as you're healthy (like no diseases), don't worry about it.

My girlfriend was a poster child for starving in Africa until she got older. She's perfectly fine and looks awsome. All the girls are going to be soooooo jealous at her High School reunion.

Whatever you do, don't try to gain weight. It goes horribly wrong. Just have fun, enjoy your life. And remember, if you were alone on a tropical island, you wouldn't know you weren't average.

My wife has this problem. She has to drink milk every day and take weightgain formula. Everyone is different and it can take lot of time and tests to find what you need to take.

You may a difficency in certain proteins that need daily intake.

This can become serious so first talk to clinic about blood tests, diet and supplimental medicine.

I think you are normal. Take it easy as long as you are eating right. You are only 14 and your body needs time to grow and mature still. If all else fails when you reach 20, consult a nutrionist.

Please talk with your mum about goiing to the dr. asap. There, please have a physical, or at least blood work-cbc, blood glucose, etc. Have your thyroid checked too. It might be your thyroid, or it might be you have a high metabolism, or something else. Only the dr. can really tell. I wish you the best. Take care.
