Who would depict Moses in the remake???Heston did a hell of a job (no pun intended) and Brenner as the Pharaoh was no joke. How do you bounce back from something like that and make a better movie. I'd admit the special effects would be better now, but the actors are not as easily replaced.

Ah, I wouldn't make a remake. Some movies are just better original, like War of the Worlds.

There is no one in Hollywood like Cecil B. DeMille and to even think about remaking THE TEN COMMANDMENTS is so stupid. Why doesn t Paramount just release the 1956 version in IMAX? How great would that be?

I would go with Mel Brookes as Moses. He did such a good job in HOTW II.
