Jesus was born perfect and died perfect. He did everything perfectly. As such, he does not have to go through the 'fleshly' phase again. Once was enough. To do it twice would indicate the first time was un-successful. t was not.
According to daniel 2;44 and 9;25, Jesus cam into Kingdom Power in October 1914.
He is already back here, in spirit, and with followers.
He came ' as if on a cloud'...invisible. Nothing in a cloud can be literally seen...even a 747.
He is awaiting the signal to ' ride out' as the conquering warrior [ from his Father in heaven, Jehovah God]
(Matthew 24:36) “Concerning that day and hour nobody knows, neither the angels of the heavens nor the Son, but only the Father.
Jesus is long past being a helpless baby in a manger, that some religions continue to depict him. He has already cast satn out of heaven. Revelation 12; 7-9 and 12

Just as you do, I believe Jesus Christ will return in 1 generation or thereabouts but can anyone tell? (not according to the Bible) There are three more sure signs that must happen before He returns, in His own words and as prophesied by the prophets.
(1) Apostasy will increase and the people of God will be persecuted the world over not just in communist, Islamic, or pagan regions. In fact there is a good chance that the West turning pagan slowly will begin to persecute its own Christians and Jews. Witness the Bible being blamed for "hate crimes" against homosexuality.
For this the number of apostates will increase. I believe that tarring all semitic religions with the brush of violence as in the case of Islam will play a major role. This is already being attempted by pagans/ New Agers. If there is a war deemed to be relgious starting from the Middle East, that will be used as a pretext to accelerate the ban on the Bible, not counting the pressure from radical gays and the increasing number of those engaging in free sexual license and increase in debauchery and wilful degradation. When the status quo changes and the balance of power falls into the hands of the pagans / sex-crazed pseudo-Christian gnostics, then persecution of those decrying societal sins and the forced removal of Bibles will be state sanctioned.
2) The Jews will enmasse open their eyes to the Messiah as never before, then only Jesus will come. The Jews will be facing their final attempt at mass annihilation, worse than when the Nazis attempted it, at the hands of the last and most vile antiChrist (you see antiChrist knows the prophecy about Jesus coming after the Jews open their eyes. The Nazis knowingly or unknowingly, being steeped in the occult tried but failed to forestall the coming of Jesus by attempting just that). Think Herod and the slaughter of innocents and the attempted slaughter of the Jews throughout history, first to forestall the birth of Christ and now to forestall His Second Coming..
3) The Antichrist must first be revealed and allowed to seduce those who listen with itching ears what they want to hear, then only will Jesus return to restore all things.

Yes, less than 100. I would say within 15 to 30. So your guess of 20 is right in the ballpark. Of course, we are only allowed to guess.

The folks at Family Radio believe it will be in the fall of 2011.
See:
http://www.timehasanend.org/public/en_time_has_an_end_cont.html
That said, the lectures at Family Radio, are illuminating.
See: http://worldwide.familyradio.org/zusa/english/connect/audio_archive/echoes/frame/download/download.html
Lastly, for the offline version of the FR nightly call in show where folks ask questions live about the bible, see:
http://worldwide.familyradio.org/zusa/english/connect/audio_archive/forum/frame/
I am not endorsing all of the host's, Harold Camping, theologies, but one is able to learn quite a bit by listening to these materials.

I believe the Abomination of Desolation will occur before that. Then a thousand years of peace, (and who knows how long that will be? or what KIND of peace it will be), Then He will come.
It'll be a wait. But according to the Prophecy of St Malachy, there is but one other Pope (after this one) before the city on seven hills burns to the ground.

Keep believing like everyone for the past 2000 years; Didn't jesus say he would come back for his apostles"in their time"?
Yet they all died mortal deaths. Jesus forget or is his watch broke?
