__________ Because all you do is complain on how mistreated you are and how everyone put you down. Go out, get a job and support yourself and maybe people wouldn't hate you. You play the race game instead of just getting out there and doing something with your life!!! Stop saying that society and the white man is holding you down because it's you that is holding yourself back... I'm Puerto Rican too (and a couple other things) but I haven't witnessed any problems? Then again it could relate to where you live and the people you're surrounded with? I'm sorry if this didn't help much.

I don't want to make sweeping generalizations but, in my experience with the Puerto rican's I know, it has to do with the braggin about your home country. The we are better than americans attitude that many of them have. It also has something to do with american Arrogance so I am not just slamming you. I slam myself also. But We think like this if Puerto Rico is so great then why are you here? I have been to Puerto Rico. Seven times in my life. My Best friend is stationed in La Ceba ( spelled right?). Anyway I know first hand what the Puerto Ricans think of Americans in their country. Its plastered all over the over passes and buildings over there. GET OUT U.S. NAVY OUT etc. etc. You can't deny this at all I have first hand knowledge of the attitudes given to White people there. I KNOW how it is to be an American there. Talk about being hated on. Also there's things about the situation there that piss us off. Like the fact that american food stamps welfare WIC AFDC is handed out over there and NOONE has to pay America taxes on it. That's a huge problem with me. I have to pay taxes and I DO NOT recieve welfare. So we feed you and all the benefits of being an American but none of the taxes and laws?? That's Bullsh**. Before you ask why we hate on you turn that all seeing eye towards yourself and ask Why do Puerto Rican's hate on Americans so badly in my country??? That is the question. I seen Puerto Rico. All of it. Hiked to the top of the El Junque Rainforest swam in La Mina falls San Jaun everywhere. I am just saying hating on is a two way street. If America really did pull the navy out of there and take all the monies away that we provide to that place then it would be a 3rd world country. The entire country is Bankrupt. That's not an opinion that's a documented fact. Without American dollars things would be pretty shi*** for the WHOLE country. So there it is. If things are so great then why come here? Well things aren't great. There is no job market NONE. The Island is overcrowded to the point of exploding. I seen it I been there I know. Being here is a privilage so maybe they should understand that and stop harshing on America as if they are owed something. Hows that sound? No Offense But I damn sure wouldn't want to live in Puerto Rico without American Monies coming in. That'd be akin to living in somolia
