Whatever you are contemplating, don't give it another thought. If you are even thinking about doing anything covert, they will send their men in black over to pick you up, you will endure hours of sleep deprivation and torture, and be dropped off naked in an empty field hopped up on Sodium-Pentothal. The floorplan is exactly this:
As a floor, I plan to lay horizontal all my life except for at stairs upon which I plan move up vertically for a time. I also plan to have other areas where I will rise up in a shallow incline in order to allow handicap access.
I plan to allow desks, chairs, bookshelves and other furniture placed upon me whereupon I will keep them in place. These items are for the use of the rest of my plan, as I will allow people to walk, run, trot, roll over as is their will.
