It was actually very competitive. Many thought Fedor would take Hunt down quickly and submit him. It didn't happen that way. As a matter of fact it was Fedor that was on his back in side control for much of the fight even fighting off a couple kimura attempts. But as Fedor does, he got back to his feet, put Hunt on his back, and quickly submitted him with his own kimura. It lasted until the 8:16 mark, which is probably about 7 minutes longer than many thought Hunt would make it. Mark Hunt definitely showed that he has been spending a lot of time training submission defense.
