Don't do it, kids with perm. marker tats remind me of little toddlers drawing on themselves. And by the way, do you really think permanent marker would be permenant on your skin? If it was "Sharpie" would be sued after some kid like you draws a yin yang on their hand and it never comes off.

Permanent marker is meant to be permanent on paper, not skin. On your skin, it might look OK, but it will eventually rub down and look like crap after showers. You are only 13. You dont have to try to look like a major bad ***. Until you are of legal age, i just suggest you draw what kinds of tattoos interest you. Then you will know what you want. And you could use permanent marker to draw it so you know what spot you want it on. Permanent marker doesnt do anything harmful to your skin, but know it will not be the same as a tattoo at all.

Why would you want a tattoo at the age of 13? Wait a little bit like about 3-5 yrs or so. permanent marker is not good. You can get ill from this. You can damage your skin or poison yourself one the ink soaks into your skin. Don't be stupid and do something like that.

Well if you've ever used a permanent marker and accidently marked yourself then you would know that it's permanent on paper but not on skin...

The chemicals are dangerous in those particular markers and the substance of in them is not good for your skin.

Do you genuinely think that you scribbling drawings on yourself with a permanent marker is going to look like a tattoo? It won't...sorry to disappoint.

Permanant marker will wash off your skin after a couple washes, but try henna tattoos, they last for up to 2 weeks

Haha.. If your under 18 you have to have your parents with you when you go to a tatoo parlor to get a tatoo. Perm. Markers do not stick onto your skin, Dont go to school and ask that same question cause you will be laughed at

No- Please dont be silly. Why would you want to use permenant marker on you so that it looks awful or gaudy looking. Take my advice - go to your local art supply store or maybe even dollar store and buy something called "HENNA PAINT" or a "HENNA KIT" that has semi permenant ink in it that lasts up to two weeks depending on how it is applied and comes with stencils to use for designs.

NO- permenant marker will not work at all. It will wash out and is no where near permenant.

Permanent marker can be very dangerous when too much is on the skin. It soaks into the blood and can cause blood poisoning.

Unless your very good friends with a tattoo artist, then you're going to have to wait until you're at least 17 / 18. No tattooist in their right mind would should tattoo you at 13 and it's illegal to tattoo a minor.

Don't use a permanant marker. You may write something on yourself that you may regret for the rest of your life. Take for instance a friend of mine, he wrote something stupid and now he regrets everyday and covers it up with bandages.

Oh and don't use the permanant marker. And why the heck do you want a tattoo anyways. Only thugs gets tattoos. In a job setting, tattoos are frowned upon. Don't ruin your future this early in your life.

edit:
apparently, people in here are crazy thugs. I give an answer that discourages tattoos at the age of 13 and i get 3 thumbs down. This one other guy tells this poor kid to cut himself with a knife and he gets a thumbs up and 3 thumbs down. Apparently the crazy psycho has a better rating than me in this group's standards.
