I was wondering what the legal age to get tattooed in Georgia is, and/or what states (besides Alabama) are there that the legal age to get tattooed is 17? Thanks.

You will outgrow tattoos just like yesteryear fashions. Tats can also limit your social circle and employment opportunities.

You might want to re think this.

Every state I can think of is only 18. Unless you get it done illegaly. But that's usually not clean and you end up scabbing and ink will scab off which is totally not good. (It's not that way for ALL places that will tat 17 year olds behind the curtain - but the places that usually do that arnt very professional).

My advice? Wait until you're 18. I wanted the same tattoo for 3 years and once I turned 18 I realized I was stupid and that would look totally horrid on my body! Haha. I guess I'm not a fan of tatoos anymore much.

More advice you probably dont care about - Only get a tattoo that means something deeply. A relative that passed away, etc etc. Otherwise you'll end up not liking them in the long run. Pretty much all of my friends have them and are starting to regret it!!! :(

Well here is a list of all the states that will/wont tattoo minors. The only thing to add is certain stuios will not work on minors regardless. Virginia is wrong on there however as we can work on 16+ with parent present. So im not sure how current it is
