I am a 38 year old father of two,I am thinking of going to college, to do either Advertising or marketing, will i be too old to get a job in that field,? right now i work with young people trying to make a different and change the world.
but i am getting tired of it i need some money.any advice?

First of all NO YOUR NOT TOO OLD!! Im 22 and while I was in school I was the youngest in my class always. My classmates were all non traditonial students over the age of THIRTY. Most of them parents going back to school like your self. If you believe you can do it, well then DAMNIT you can do it! Just remember it might be frustrating at first and a little hard to get back into the swing of things but its totally worth it! GOOD LUCK ! You should look for people to hire you and pay for you to go to school, a lot of places have that option and that way you will already have your foot in the door. You may start out with a crappy job, but once your done with your shcooling you can move up. THEN not only are your classes paid for, you will have job while your in school. ALSO look into grants from the state. I know where i live people over a certin age were able to go to school for almost next to nothing just because of there age. So that could be something to look into! This way you don't have to pay for classes!! GOOD LUCK

When I started college in a few of my classes the oldest people in the class were in their 60's... I say go for it.. no one is ever too old to learn or to change careers.. My father in law was in his mid 40's when he changed careers he never once regretted it either

You should go get a degree. You won't be too old to get a job in either of those fields.
Maybe you could do night school or online.
