Tramadol is a prescription pain medicine. I think most people are opposed to anyone taking pain meds due to the fact that they are highly addictive. Its a better pain medicine due to the fact it is less likely to cause stomach ulcers or internal bleeding. Tramadol is a mild to moderate pain reliver and is less likely to be habit forming. More doctors are using this instead of the pain meds that contain acetominophen because of the side effects listed above. Only you know if you need the pain medication or not. No one can tell you whether or not you need it. Just be careful using it and don't abuse it.

.Tramadol is an excellent pain killer. Tramadol is used to relieve moderate to moderately severe pain. Tramadol also may be used to treat pain caused by surgery and chronic conditions such as cancer or joint pain. Tramadol works by decreasing the brain's perception and response to pain. It also reduces the size or magnitude of the pain signal passed from one nerve to another. Tramadol medication is sometimes prescribed for other uses. Tramadol comes as a tablet to take it orally. It usually is taken every 4-6 hours as needed. It may be taken with or without food.

Tramadol IS addictive...
It's more addictive than the natural or synthetic opiates on the market. It's just like methadone. I've heard people in detox say that the methadone was harder to kick than the heroin they tried to get off of in the first place.
True, tramadol is non-narcotic, but it works by binding to the opioid-2 receptors and those are the ones that you have to keep feeding once they get used to the chemical. The withdrawls are worse with tramadol than true opiates too.
Really, don't take that crap. I honestly believe that tramadol is worse than heroin....
Also, the blood toxicity level of tramadol is an incredibly low dose so that "one extra" can damage your liver or even kill you. That's some bad stuff.
Take vicoden like everyone else! HAHAHA!!

Tramadol is a non narcottic- non adictive pain killer. Why they would be against you taking it I have no idea, it is certainly better than vicodine or codine as they are adictive. Unless you have other health issues that you haven't stated here, it would be a good choice for a pain killer.

It is a prescription pain medicine and if you had no clue what it was that means you got it illegally or else you would have known what it is for. People are probably opposed to you taking it as it a strong pain med that you have no business taking unless YOUR doctor prescribed them for you.
