13 Then Isaiah said, "Hear now, you house of David! Is it not enough to try the patience of men? Will you try the patience of my God also? 14 Therefore the Lord himself will give you [a] a sign: The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and [b] will call him Immanuel. [c] 15 He will eat curds and honey when he knows enough to reject the wrong and choose the right.

Ask The Lord Jesus to reveal Himself to you, and when u experience His life changing presence and love, u will know that He is the ONE and ONLY God.
Immanuel means God with us., as it says in John 3:16:For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whomsoever beliebeth in Him will not perish but have eternal life.

There's nothing there to state that Jesus is only a prophet.

Yes, Jesus was a prophet in that He was also able to prophesy and perform great miracles. But Jesus is more than that. He is God in the flesh.

Emmanuel means 'God with us'. Since Jesus is God in the flesh amongst man, that term fits well.

Actually, the Hebrew is written in a way that proper translation implies "The virgin" is actually " that young woman" referring to an actual living girl, who was probly in the room at the time..

I think they have a lot of names for Jesus. Any word you say, "Oh, that's Jesus". Whatever, freaks.
