There is this woman named shelly, who I am in love with. Is this a test of my true devotion, or does she not want to see me the same way I see her?

I know how you feel, you just want to show how much you care, sometimes even though you feel this is the "one" for you, your not always the "one" for her. I was talking to and older gentelmen a couple of days ago and he explained there was no such thing as a stalker when he was courting his wife in the 60's, He was agressive, but there was also a positive respone, even though slight comming from his future wife. If there is only negative respone from shelly when you try to "prove your devotion" to her, your better off just leaving her alone. So relax on her and look to someone else that appreciates your engaged relationship behavior. Don't hold on to hope that things will change, that will only continue to confuse and irritate you, you must let go completely.

To all those women that call him a stalker, I hope you find some man that does'nt give a %$#@ about you, so you can live in your happy loveless lives :)

LOL, I think her message is loud and clear. She wants you to leave her alone. If a woman takes the effort to put a restraining order on you, she isn't interested in you the least bit. Sorry dude.

A restraining order restrains unwanted loved. Unwanted love cannot be true love. She can't be the one if she does not want to be. You just need to get over it.

If she got a restraining order from a court of law, she's not playing "hard to get" anymore. You can't force someone to fall in love with you, as hard as that is to accept.

If you've been hit with a restraining order, then you are not in love with her. You are obssesed with her. Big difference!

yes, that means that she does not want you near her. if you go around her you will be arrested. jail time as well. my advise to you is stay away and find someone else. this is not true love. did you hit her?call all her names? stalk her? these are reasons for the order. heed warning you get NO chances!!! you had to do something!!!
