Mr. Fire Alarm knows me for the past three years. I've always thought he liked me. He's been to my house twice. Stayed about an hour each time. Last time, he gave me a hug that could have easily been flipped into a kiss...If I was more agressive or sure of myself. We do hug all the time.

Could be either. There is no way to know just yet. His actions will tell you though I will say most guys will go all the way as soon as they get a chance. Now that I am a bit older(37) and more mature I realize that is both my and my girlfriend's responsbilitities to pace the relationship. In other words, if you want more than a one nighter or weekender, then you need to stoke that fire into something that can last versus something that will burn out before it ever really gets started.
He is interested, based on what he said about "starting a fire." Let him make the next move or ask him what he meant but in a playful way. In the meantime, give him a few opportunities to make the next move by asking him what's up and casually letting him know you have not decided what you are doing this weekend, for example.
All guys have different ways of letting a woman know they are interested but ALL of them come down to paying more attention to you than anything else then either asking you out and/or calling you after some amount of flirting.
It definitely sounds like he interested, though.

If we knew the proper way. We wouldn't be single.
The weirdest way; I wrote long letters. Revealing my true feelings (never do that. If you're a guy.Honesty is the worst policy.). Women like lies. So the song go's Tell me lies tell me sweet little lies.
I think horn dog remarks are considered sweet and genuine by women and sweet softy words are considered wimpy or fake.
The goal for us is not sex or a relationship.It's just an attempt to go out for a coffe and get to know you first. You women panic,jump to conclusions and think that just because some guy wites you a love letter or tells you some pick up lines. He must want me more than anything therefore he's a desperate horndog. It's not true. It's just our attempt at breaking the ice. Ofcourse, he wouldn't write to you if he didn't like you enough to invest his time into wanting to get to know you. But, don't assume he's going to want to marry you or even date you after he gets to know you.
There are plenty of other fish in the sea of love. Trust me. If you're not into him and he's into you . He'll replace you ASAP. Then you'll regret it and strangely will be more attracted to him.
As for what your crush wrote. That's horniness and something big. Because,horniness is something big. If our parents weren't horny. We wouldn't be here.

If I don't know the girl then I would just give her a short smile. If I'm with someone I just met then I would make some horn dog remarks just to be funny but nothing too nasty. If I really like her I'll just make cute horn dog remark like you got nice lips or nice shoulders or even chest. Really depends. But if I go as far as talking about sex and get detail with her then I may just want sex and who knows what.

To be true when i say this to any of my dates it means its about sex.("loins on fire" if u have heard of the term?)
If a guy wants to talk about romance or love he usually starts talking softly or flirts to see how u react and then he will choose an alternate way to get ur attention.

once i said (i was drunk and i dont remember it but have been told by some mates) and i qoute "wanna root"? of course she said no but we had a pretty good laugh the next day i dont even remember it. NORMALLY, i ask them out to the movies or somthin or just talk to em like normal people
