You must buy a ticket. The odds of winning the powerball are 1 in about 187,000,000. I buy only one ticket $1. Many people spend more on tickets but in all honest there is very little difference between 1 in 187million and 5 in 187million. There is however a big difference between 1 and 0. There are some numbers that occur more frequently but many people play them and if they happen to win the jackpot you will be splitting it like a million different ways.

Are you seriously asking this question. Come on hopefully you know the chance of winning a big lottery is nearly impossible. Its like making up a random name and then going to a telephone book and telling their exact phone number and getting it right without even looking. Maybe that might might put it in perspective for you

The only way to ever so slightly increase your expected value is to play combos with numbers higher than 31. The reason is that the most common plays people make are birthdays. You aren't more likely to hit, but you are less likely to have to share the prize with someone else if you hit.
But either way it's still a losing proposition. Play for fun if you wan't, just don't think that you can beat the game.

Lottery is fun sometimes, but mathematically speaking everyone knows that the chance of winning is slim to none. I'd recommend something easier, that will give you higher advantage: sports book betting. What you do is find a solid online handicapping service that gives out free picks (example: www.myspace.com/magnasports). You bet small $5 a game using their free advice. Once you build up a decent bankroll ($100), then subscribe to their packages and double your bankroll and go from there....
Thats what I did and I went from a $30 bankroll to $288 for this month.

I request you to neither go for the "same numbers all the time" option nor the "Quick Pick" option. Instead, just pick random numbers as you like, and make sure you pick different numbers every time. This would make you most happy! And play responsibly, that's most important. Good Luck!

your odds are better when you buy more tickets, but your choice or the quick pick numbers are equal on the chances of you winning, but start with a set of regular numbers and keep trying till you do win, good luck.

sorry there is no skill in picking numbers for the lottery i mean cmon possibly trillions of possibilitys... no way to just be able to do a mathematically problem to solve it if so more people would win it. try poker better chances and new friends!!! Texas hole em is good lots of online casinoeS!!!
