The three religions (Christianity, Islam and Judaism) believe that if one does not believe and practice ones religion, they will suffer eternal condemnation in hell. How about everyone else? As in people with no contact to these religions at all, e.g. people of jungle tribes or even those in the past who only know of one religion and thats all. How does religion justify a god who creates humans who are born and bred -for a lack of a better term- to go to hell. Can anyone help me understand this question which has always bugged me.

Before the Second Coming of Christ, all will have heard the Gospel of Christ. Those that died in the Old Testament, knew God, but didn't know Jesus. At the Great White Throne judgment they will be given a brief time to either believe in Christ or reject him. Right before the Great White Throne, satan will be released for a short period.

You have posited a person that would not exist in your theistic scenario. God could not create a person that would not know He existed.

No one is born a non-believer. Sometime in a person's life, the non-believer chooses (consciously or unconsciously) not to believe or to not know. Ever wonder why? Because God's revelation is imprinted on us all. A person cannot look around and not see the hand of a creator at work. One can complain about organized religion, all the bad religious people you have met, etc., but in the end none of us can claim we have an excuse for not believing that some higher moral authority exists beyond ourselves.

Hence, God's revelation in the world and in our minds is sufficient for us to make a choice, no matter where we live on this planet. God's perfect love and justice requires that He respect that choice as well.

According to the Bible, God will not bring destruction until the knowledge of the kingdom is preached throughout the earth. Besides, most all people on earth have heard of God and religion. For the few who haven't, well the end hasn't occurred yet either. God didn't create us to go to hell, anymore than we give birth for our children to die. Good question. The Bible can answer it better than I ever could.

P.S. I don't believe in hellfire, the devil with red horns and a pitchfork. Hell is the grave.

Allah only accepts Islam. He says in the Koran: "Whoever seeks a religion other than Islam it won't be accepted of him, and he will be one of the loosers in the hereafter". I would rather loose anywhere, but not loose in the hereafter. This is because Hellfire is eternal. It never ends, and we never die when we go there, if we go there.
Allah is the most just. Don't even think that we can be nicer than Allah. Allah is the Most Just, and He said in the Koran "We were not to punish till having sent a warner". The "We" here is the majestic we used in Arabic. So if a person never heard about Islam, and was never warned clearly Allah would have a special test for that person that He knows is equal to the chance that person would have had on earth.

I can speak for Islam...
It is not simply a matter of not believing (if you have no knowledge thereof) that will condemn you to hell. One of the biggest misconceptions about religion is that people think they can point at others and discern those who will go to hell. That is absolutely and completely up to God and to think that simply being a Muslim will save you from hell fire is utterly wrong in the eyes of Islam.
In Islam, it is the quality of your life; each and every act is weighed for its good and bad. Removing a stone from the path so that travelers might not stumble could potentially be a strong virtue in the eyes of God.
Either way, we are not in a position to comment who goes to hell and who does not. Screaming REPENT NOW at others and threatening them with guaranteed hell is just wrong.
Cheers & God bless.

I believe that everyone who does not get a chance to hear and believe God's gospel on thsi earth will get a chance to hear it after they die. Everyone has been given a partial truth, and it is up to us to do the best with it and to seek out the most truth. This is what m faith (The LDS church) teaches as well.

The Bible promises a resurrection of the righteous and the unrighteous. Obviously, no one would be resurrected from eternal torment, so they must be being resurrected from death instead. Lies always bugged me too.
