that is good you are aware of chimicals harms, try natural ways like take alot of watter, do a bit of excersize or jogging in da early mornings and use mints, naturally, apart from being harmless it has alot of advantages....just whenever you felt like smoking try taking some mints, it will quintch your thirst for smoking and you would feel better in matter of a week or two.

I just quit.

This way you cannot blame the patches if you fail.

When I was 28 I began to cough up blood and developed serious asthma. One trip to the doctor and I never smoked a ciggie again. It was not easy. But the few times I tried to borrow my friends would not give me them. I became one of those people who stripped beer bottles of all labels when I went to bars.

Within a few years I could not stand the smell of the stuff. My girls grew up giggling at how funny smoke looked coming out of peoples' noses and mouths.

It was not easy. I just plain quit.

Do not be ashamed of what you do. We live in a draconian society that passes judgement without understanding. No addiction is easy to break. We all know the tobacco companies spike their goods with chemicals guaranteed to hook new clients.

You might be amazed at how wonderful you feel if you can manage a week without.

How about a slow wean down ... 1 less a day until you are at 0?

Just take it one hour at a time. After a week of success treat yourself with the $$ you saved by not wasting it on tobacco?

I wish you well with this.

CHANTIX
these are pills you take..

If you are a very heavy smoker you might need a 2 months supply

I think it's the best i have ever tried .. so far soo good
but might experience some weight gain .. if you dont stack up with good snacks
Good luck... i am have been off smoking for 3 weeks... i breathe alot better.. i smell great.. and my skin looks better.. i wake up not coughing and i dont feel nervous thinking where to smoke
it's worth it... quit.. i didnt even think i will quit one day and everyone around me called me a chimney

my father chained smoked for 42 years...one day he threw his pack away...and stopped...and hasn't smoked since....

I tried this method and thought my head was going to explode...I had a headache for days...than I tried the patches and they worked ...I didn't have the headaches..I didn't have the cravings....but I ate everything and anything in sight......not good.....so I started smoking again..I just couldn't stand the weight gain....by the way, my dad gained a little right afterwards...but started walking and took it right off....

I believe to quit this habit..you have to have the desire, willpower, and determination...(in all these things I waver)..... probably cold turkey is the best way to go...I know people who quit smoking and is now addicted to the gum....

I wish you the best of luck.....it is a hard habit to break.....I hope you succeed..I just wish I could.. : /
