I wouldn't call myself smart, but I have been told that I am over and over. I am wondering if it girls like it when the guy is smarter than them? Is there a point at which smart becomes too smart? I do not mean someone that is braging about being smart, or someone that cannot cary on a conversation. I am talking about someone you can tell is smarter than you. Is that a turn off?

in my opinion, i dont think that a guy being smarter than me is a turn off only bcuz i think guys that can say really BIG words is hot. but then you got guys that point out everything thing that I'm doing wrong or whatever, then that juss gets annoying and i makes me stop liking him alil bit, but hey thats juss my opinion.

I don't think it's a turn off for a guy to be smarter than myself, I actually like it. I think there is a thing as too smart to the point where he's pointing out everything thing that I'm doing wrong or whatever. But if you don't do that then I don't think a guy can be too smart for myself in particular.

The only time it's not cool is when it's used in an argument.
Like the smarter one getting mad and stating "how dumb" the other is.

Note: Belittling your mate is a sure way to lose them.

It depends. When the other "smart" person is so intelligent that they really have no communucation skills and they don't even realize it then yes, they suck to be around. Also studies have shown that most successfully married couples have similar intelligence levels.
