Im from the South, I do the exact same thing. I want fried food all the time. I just make myself take my dog for a walk, go to the gym, or drink enough water that I'm not even hungry anymore. I know it's hard, but you gotta think about your health when you have those cravings. Take care and good luck.

When you find out, please let me know!
What some have told me, is to replace a food craving with a big glass of water. The colder the better as it supposedly works your metabolism a little.
Someone else told me that they go for a run when they have a nasty craving. All the power to them , but I am too.....lack of a better word?> Lazy, i guess. I'm gettin there, though!

you may not be drinking enough water. dehydration can send false signals of hunger to the brain. some studies say that almost 80% of all Americans are chronically dehydrated, I'm sure that number is pretty accurate.
