i went on the atkins diet last may and lost 120 lbs... I was huge, 6'5 and 310lbs!! after hitting my "goal" weight of 200, I started eating unhealthy again. I gained 20 pounds and came across the thought of me possibly becoming fat again. Im now trying to do something about my weight and get it back down to 200. I try to eat a little bit more healthy, and recently started jogging every night. The problem is I dont jog far (after jogging about a kilometer i get really sweaty and can't continue jogging. I then try to push myself a bit and do a few more. I dont know if doing that is enough to push some weight off. Also, what is the best way to get rid of my excess skin? I still have a big belly (without fat mostly I think)

thank you

The best way for you to lose weight AND KEEP IT OFF is to eat a healthy, well balanced diet including all food groups. This is also the best way to make sure you are getting all the essential vitamins you need that are hidden in carbs (grains and potatoes are good for you!).
The secret to losing weight is pretty simple: take in fewer calories than you burn. One way of determining your approximate ideal body weight is to calculate your Body Mass Index (BMI) (which I did for you further down. You can also look it up online).
Your current BMI is 26, and you want to aim for a 24 or lower. However, if you plan on being very active, don't be surprised to be above 24, because muscle weighs more than fat and other tissues. So, to achieve a BMI of 24, aim for about 210 lbs or less. The best thing for you to do, though, is to concentrate on losing inches, not pounds, because that's ultimately what you want!
If you are 19-30 years old, approximately 3067 calories/day is what you want to aim for (and subtract 10 calories for every year older than 19 you are, so if you are 27, subtract 80 calories so you would consume 2987 cal/day). However, because you are taller than the average, plan on consuming a bit more than that.

You can track your activity/calorie expenditure and your calorie intake! Just find an average of a week of eating and a week of exercise. You can use that and not have to write in your food and activity every day (tedious!). Then subtract your calories expended from your calories consumed (make sure to factor in calories burned while sleeping. It should be around 400). You should be at -300 to lose weight and within -300 and +300 to maintain weight.
My last suggestion to you is to try joining a basketball team or a tennis club or something instead of jogging: you'll be more likely exercise if it's fun and others are counting on you to be there! You don't have to do it every day for it to help you out.
Good luck, and be healthy!

at 6'6 200 lbs is way to light in my opinion. I wouldn't focus on total bodyweight but on your body fat. depending on how long you were overweight it may take some time for your skin to return to normal. with such a drastic amount of weight lost I'm sure you lost a major amount of muscle.

Your body NEEDS carbs. A BALANCED diet is the best when doing exercise. Crash and Fad diets have never compared to balance and hard work.
