Dogs arent completely finished growing until around the 2 year period. They are still pups and are constantly changing during the period before this.

Depends on the breed size. Giant breeds are generally not done growing untill 18-24 months, medium breeds around 12-14 months and small/toy breeds probably 8-12 months. Very small dogs such as chihuahuas may not grow much after around 7 months.

My vet told me that a dog's actual bone structure / build is complete at 10 months of age. After that their shape may continue to change as they gain weight / muscle, etc. But from my experience it depends on the dog breed and/or each individual dog. My Beagle/Boston Terrier mix seemed to continue to gradually grow until she was 1 & 1/2 years old. My Pug/Rat Terrier mix stopped growing at 1 year old. Based on everybody's answers I would say the average is between 10 months and 18 months.

Generally, 18-24 months, but I adopted a dog from the a shelter. He was 2. He'd been turned in with his vet papers which showed his age. It turned out that since he was brought up in an RV, which was a small area for him, that he grew substantially taller and heavier after I brought him home. Some breeds or individual dogs take longer than others to mature.

I would say that on the average its about a year. I have had many many dogs, and my most recent one was done growing.....bone wise, at 7 months, and she really didn't gain anymore weight until about 3 months after that, but keep in mind she is a very small dog. I have had big dogs, that have grown for 18 months. The bigger the breed the longer it takes, and it also depends on the individual dog, and its back ground, keeping it on a healthy diet and playin and exercising is helpful so its not so stressful on the body.

Most Dogs appear physically Mature at a year old, are able to breed at two years but are not considered fully mature until they are 4 years. However all dogs do a majority of their growing within the first year.

It takes dogs 2 years to fully mature. In the first year they will grow very fast and it will be easy to see they changes. Before they turn two you will see gradual changes over time, they may become bulkier, a little taller or more mature looking. According to experts it is 2 years old.

Usually a puppy will quit growing around 18 months to two years in height. It depends on the breed. After two they usually just put on bulk.

It depends on the breed. My golden reitriever has just turned one and is almost full grown! It realy does depend on what type of dog though.
You can probably find some chart on the internet with listed breeds.
