hehe I don't think I can write enough here to convince you, but if you'd like to chat sometime, send me a message...

What it's like to be saved...imagine having the most even-tempered, loving parents with unlimited resources. Imagine what it would be like if, no matter what you did, your dad wouldn't be let down or angry. In fact, he would be proud, accepting, loving, and forgiving. Imagine standing on the edge of a skyscraper and not being afraid of falling off, because you KNOW that your Dad will be there to catch you, and everything will be ok.

And I guess, in all fairness, imagine you're breaking an addiction. Imagine that you're biting your tongue so hard that it's almost bleeding because you want to say something you shouldn't so badly. Imagine looking at an attractive former friend-with-benefits, and fighting the desire to rekindle the "friendship." And imagine doing things you don't really want to do, just because your Dad said so.

It's really not all that difference between being saved and not being saved. That is not physically. You don't walk around with a wierd tingly feeling. You don't elimanate your troubles by excepting Christ(infact alot of the times they increase).
People who are saved still screw up and do things that are far from "pure".
The differences though are the fact that we have chosen to except Jesus's free gift to us. We have chosen to love him as he loves us(us meaning everyone not just saved people). Love is a choice and he wishes us all to choose him. But he (and true christians) will not choose to hate you if you decide not to take him up on his offer.
Thats what its like "satan". I understand if this doesn't move you in anyway and I wish the best for you regardless of the choice you make.

I can't "save" you - only you can do that. And there is only one way to "acheive" the goal of eternal Life and that is in Christ Jesus as Savior and Lord of your life. "What it's like to be saved" - salvation itself is a wonderful experience. It is like walking from a constricted room into a vast outdoor freshness or being able to take a really deep satisfying breath for the very first time and then realizing how "constricted" your breathing had been until that point (almost like a really bad asthmatic struggling for air). Everything takes on new meaning, you see things different (brighter, bigger, more "real"), you have this person that is as close as your own breath and He talks to you and you to Him. It's like being in love (only better) - you can't get enough of His Presence. There is a peace and a joy and a love that can't be put into words because it is so pure, so deep, so tangible that nothing can touch it. You feel like you are being carried on a cloud and you're just "floating along!" You can't get enough of being in His Word, of His Presence, of worshiping Him, of His voice speaking to you. Then as you "grow" in Him through time, and trials come and testings you find that the Faith that began in a loving relationship must anchor itself in the Being of God and His Word, not just the "loving feelings." Faith grows through knowing and understanding the God of the Word in each experience. You hit a hurdle - God's Word provides answers. A major problem arises, God's Word gives direction. Each time Faith gets stronger. As you walk out your salvation every new experience teaches you something new about the One you fell in love with, the God that cleansed you, and lives in you. You discover that your weaknesses can be traded for His strength. You can face whatever happens because the "feelings" of love, joy and peace have now become deep river beds of the living water of His Presence so deep in your soul that nothing can touch it...not circumstances, pain, heartache, doubt, confusion, absolutely nothing. There is always the assurance and confidence of His abiding Presence and the on going hope that He Provides every single day. "I know the Plans I have for you...plans to give you a hope and a future..." I would not trade my relationship with my Lord for anything that could be named...He truly is worth everything. And then I have His promise of eternal Life with Him when my time on this earth is over. That is what it is like to be"saved."

It's a shame that you never really got it or heard it. No one can save you except for God. He even gets the credit for giving you the desire to come to him.

So, no. I will not attempt something that might be against his will . . . this time.

What other things that you've 'heard' that you think are a part of
Christianity? lol

The only person that can save you is yourself by the choicees you make. Nobody's to say who will be saved for sure b/c nobody actually knows, but if you are seeking guidence on that go to a church and ask about it.

Quit calling yourself Satan. Repent and confess Jesus Christ your Lord and Savior. Believe in your hearth that He shed His blood for the remission of your sins and raised from the dead for your justification and you will be saved.

For with the heart one believes unto righteousness.

And with the mouth one confesses (to God) unto Salvation.

The conversion of heart and soul is indescribable. You're going have to seek God and find out on your own what it feels like to be truly "saved." It's between God and you.

Well, salvation is a choice, man is not able to save you...it must be faith in the Lord Jesus Christ alone and asking Him to come into your life.
