NO see a chiropractor and use a massage therapist. The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook by Davies explains about knots in muscles that make them tight pressing on nerves.

Geesh they better not charge that much for a steroid shot or no one will be able to afford it any more. Yes it works and you may or may not ever need another one. They numb the area before they inject the cortisone and you may feel some discomfort once the numbing agent wears off. The needle is just a standard injection needle. That is an old wives tale about the needle being huge and long.

Yes it could be the $5000. shot you've heard about if you get it in an outpatient surgery some drs which i have not done but once actually do it in their office and much cheaper but scarier to me.
Yes it could help but for how long it depends each shot is differnet depends if he hit the correct nerve which is hard inthe office but in outpatient surgery they can see with their equipment, my first one lasted 8 months i/ve had one not work at all. Get a doctor who is now for these epidural steroid injections with good success rate.

good luck

As said before no....increase your vitamin B, with whole grains, vegetables and nuts, organic meat. seek alternatives like EFT and simple Soothex which detoxifies, relieves the pain, increase oxygen and improves the blood circulation. EFT is probably one of your best "health insurances" and can increase your overall well being. When taking corticosteroids be sure to increase your multi vitamins and increase your immune system. Corticosteroids will diminish your immune sytem. Good luck.
