Is there any kind of computer software for Printing words with an air brush effect?

I want to make some t-shirts for my sons class and i want to be able to just do it on the computer and print it on an iron on transfer

The Paint Program which comes free with Windows has an air-brush tool which you could use. You will find Paint by clicking on the Start button, choose Accessories and then Paint. The tool options are down the left side of the screen and the Air Brush looks like a little blue spray-can. The colours are down the bottom. If you use this program be careful to do a Print-Preview before you print onto the transfers because if you expand the canvas you may not see all of the picture on the printout.
