m not being able to trust my father.what is your take on your father?

Hmm, he's dead. Just because a person is a father does not make him trustworthy. Same with mothers, aunts, uncles.
I luckily could trust my mother in everything. I could trust my father with most things but he often did not follow through on his intentions. I knew that so it wasn't a big deal. It just really depends on what you cannot trust him about.

My biological father is a lying crackhead but my step dad is a WONDERFUL man who has been in my life for over 25 years and I couldn't ask for a better dad. He taught me the way a man should treat a women and often tells me how precious I am to him. He treats my girls like his little princesses by taking them on dates and sending them flowers. He is an excellent example of what a man should be, strong, sensitive, compassionate, but stern whenever necessary.

My DAD is the greatest man in the world. I don't know what I would do without him. If there was one person in the world that I could count on for anything it would be him. I'm really sorry that you have a bad relationship with your Father. I wish you the best.
