Brown and beige is a very sophisticated color scheme for a teen bedroom. I think you should go metro/coffee shop. Get your favorite snapshots in black and white and frame them in black. Arrange them in a pattern on the wall. Get black leather picture boxes and store all your junk. Keep everything streamlined and clear of clutter. Find some brown/black/beige or even gold curtains. Maybe decorate with mirrors and add lots of cream colored candles!

with a main color theme that is made up of earthy neutrals like brown and beige you need some accents that will give a bit of wow to the room. My suggestion is to use accents of bright aquamarine and bubble gum pink. hold up a paint chip with these colors on it next to the beige and brown and see how they really work together. use bedding / window treatments that have a brown and sky blue stripe pattern. get an assortment of used funky vases and spray paint them either pink or aqua and place them in bookshelves. put up some square or rectangular shadowbox shelves on the walls that are painted a dark chocolate brown, place your pink or aqua accent pieces on them and just watch the colors pop out. you can do the same thing with old used picture frames, get an assortment of shapes and sizes at flea markets and garage sales; remove the glass from them if they have glass, and spray paint all a uniform color(either pink or aqua). glue them to the wall as is, no need to have anything in them--the frames themselves are the artwork.

Since you're doing brown and beige, I would go with a simple decor theme of white and brown. It's cute and chic. You can also throw in one more color. I suggest a rosy pink, but sky blue works nice too. Get a white bedspread with brown and pink/blue stripes or polka dots. I suggest buying a fuzzy, off-white flokati rug. You can get them many places, but here is a picture off one. http://www.pbteen.com/products/p124/index.cfm?pkey=crawram&cm%5Fsrc=None . Also buy a bunch of pillows. Try going to Kmart or Marshall's. They have some nice specialty pillows for pretty cheap. Buy a bunch in tans, browns, whites and pinks/blues. Put some on your bed and also have a corner with a bunch of pillows in it. Also, browse through www.pbteen.com. Their stuff is on the expensives side, but it will give you some good ideas. You can also go to IKEA. They have some great furnishings for cheaper once you know what you want.
P.S. I love your color theme choice!
