Reasearch what you eat, and exercise. Nothing will make weight loss permanent the way exercise will. Three times a week, strt out at 20 minutes cardio, and some mild weight or resistance training, and in 6 weeks you will feel and look trimmer.
There are a lot of diet aids out there, I have tried everything, some work sort of, and some are a rip off, but it is short term and you lose too quickly and will be stuck with skin folds. My gym has a fat loss program that does both the fitness and the meal planning with you. It is awesome and results are 100%.

Eat only when hungry. No more than three meals a day unless diabetic. Eat nourishing food with plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables being part of it. Chew each morsel at least 32 times. This will activate signal to the brain as soon as u have had enough. Besides this change in eating style, take regular light exercises and brisk walks every day. U will be able to shed all extra weight gracefully and in a reasonable time span. No hurry to loose it that fast.
