Yes...you can get into trouble because you know about it...you are contributing to the crime because you know about it and supplying the basement for his illegal use!!!

You can go to prison too. His sentence may be longer but still you'll be sitting there right next to him in a jail cell! Do you want to spend most of your life in prison? Report him to the police or tell him to get out of your house!!!

Give me a break, all of these yes answers, first of all how old is the ask-er? Even if the asker is an adult, if the house is not under their control then they cannot lay down the rules. The home owner could lose the house, not due to foreclosure but because of law-enforcement confiscation. You see, the owner or the renter may not be aware of what the uncle is doing, therefore could infact evade prosecution. However, they could lose the home or be evicted from the home, if it is not owned by them.
Asker, that is your living situation, sorry to hear your problem, you are not getting paid to be a cop, the house is not under your control, and if you are not involved you should not be prosecuted. I can't say that you won't because sometimes innocent person(s) do get unfairly prosecuted in the system as it is not perfect. If I were you I would keep your nose clean and if at all possible try to move out as soon as possible. Sorry, to hear about your situation perhaps you can speak with your parrents are whoever is in charge of the house and get it straightened out. It is not fair to jepordise you though, often time places like that get broken into and robbed and sometimes people get killed in that situation. If your parrents or whoever is in charge of the house is not involved in this operation, then I myself would see about getting the police right on his butt. Perhaps they can put him in jail where he belongs and that would take care of your problem. Hang in there and keep your nose clean.

Yes. You are involved in the drug trade.

1. You will be charged with being part of a conspiracy to manufacture and sell drugs.
2. Your house will be confiscated by the authorities because it was used in the manufacture of drugs.
3. If you manage to convince the authorities that you are just an innocent bystander and you also convince them not to take your home, you still have a huge problem. Meth is considered a HAZARDOUS WASTE. Your home will be declared a HAZMAT site and YOU will be financially responsible for paying for the cleanup of the site. You will lose your home and be bankrupt.
4. The manufacture of Meth creates poisonous byproducts which can kill you and your family in seconds if your Uncle is just the slightest bit careless.

You have a major problem. The only real solution is to call the cops and get out of that death trap house.

Yes, very much so. Not only can you get in legal trouble, your health will suffer. Depending on which type of cook he is using, you could be exposed to phosgene gas. It is odorless and kills very effectively!! Or there could be white phosphorous as a by product. Or the lab could catch fire and burn your house down. Do you have any small children in the house? If so and if they survive long term exposure, the state WILL take them if/when you are discovered. The state/county/city could step in afterwords and condemn the house. If the owner does not pay for decontamination, the state will do so and then probably destroy the residence.

Now, having said that, why don't you modify your answer with your address. Me and a few of my friends would like to come and educate you on the dangers of running a meth lab in your residence

Yes. You need to talk to this uncle. Meth labs are easy to find, they stink. Meth in addition to all the other problems is acid and will destroy your teeth.
Who ever is making the mortgage payments might go to jail or lose their job and then the house gets foreclosed. Then where will your family be? It is stuff like this that creates homeless people.

Heck, yes. Not only can you be charged an an accessory or accomplice to whatever he is charged with, they can also charge you with obstruction of justice, withholding evidence of a crime, etc. Plus the chemicals used to make that junk are totally dangerous and should only be handled with protective equipment by professional chemists, which I'm betting your uncle isn't. You are contaminating yourself and the whole environment of your house, and could be charged by the EPA with a big bill for cleanup and disposal of all of the stuff in there. Tell him to relocate his sideshow somewhere else and fast!

Yepper you get busted right along with him,not to mention you lose the house because of the hazardous material cleanup and that will run into at least ten thousand there, and a good chance the feds will seize your house and auction it off..,that's usually what they do with houses that make, sell and distribute drugs..,now what do you think you should do and is it worth it???
