Apple's have natural sugar in them, and not only helps to wake you up, all it does is help you to want to wake up by taking bites at a time, you start getting a natural sugar rush, it's refreshing, and whitens your teeth, and coffe has caffein and is not as healthy as an apple.

I really don't know. Maybe it works for those people who usually don't drink coffee and do not need major help to wake up. I know that most citrus fruits wake me up, but they are not as good as coffee. I love coffee, and I usually eat a grapefruit in the morning, and sometimes an apple, but I'm in such a rush that I don't really notice what wakes me up the most.

I've heard the same thing but, frankly, when I'm sleepy-eyed and need a quick buzz, apples just don't do for me what coffee does. I prefer them during the day when I need to feel energized. They work then.

if u wanna be awake for late hrs at night then take hot steaming cup of coffee (remember my words hot coffe not only warm)......apple is only to feel a hungry tummy and even its juice.......besides coffe stands cheaper than apples u mark it............to push off the laziness coffee stands the best and to feel the tummy its gonna be apples and any other fruits(if u want fat less stuffs)

I heard that most fruits actually make you sleepy. I heard it was grapes that keep ya awake. Can't recall where I heard that. I would go with coffee keeping you awake though.

I'm not sure, but I would say coffee. Because most coffee has caffeine in it and caffeine helps you stay awake.

I'm not sure, I've never heard that one.Coffee is bad for you though,and anything bad for you is not going to settle "perfectly" body in the morniing,your body needs something suttle and healthy to jumpstart the day.

im sure they do. apples have vitamins and minerals and all that good healthy stuff. coffee is nasty and stains ur teeth, gives u bad breath, and and is addicting. i pick apples.
