You have indeed asked a very difficult question - only the wisest of sages have been able to give an answer to this. I am also as much in the dark as you are as I have never seen HIM but I will just put my thoughts as they come into this answer. There are different premises which I will make:
1) God is in our souls and is an omnipresent, omniscient Being around us. Therefore you are right when you say that GOD is u, me and we i.e. I think God is there within all of us and everywhere around us. We are not able to see or feel God because we have wrapped up our inner core or soul in layers and layers of negative energy and thoughts consisting of ego, jealousy, greed, hatred etc. When we pray and meditate, we gradually shed these layers and our thoughts and actions are guided by selfless love and gradually we can feel the positive energy which permeates everywhere from HIM.
2) Maybe GOD is love and all positive thoughts and energy which flow from selfless love and since all of us have the power to love - all of us have GOD within us.
These are just my musing based on the Art Of Living Kriya which I have been doing for the last six years.

God is a immortal power. It is in the form of soul inside us which guides us in out path. We cannot see him but we can see it forms that we worship.If we want to be near him love people and never hurt them and be sure that if no one reconizes ur humbulness there is almighty who does the judgement.

Niether you nor me nor we. Nature is GOD. We are part of Nature. So theres some part of it in everyone of us. GOD has no face, no form, nothing .......
It is infinity.
If you want to experience it (GOD) you should open yourself to Nature.
Observe nature. Study Nature. you will start understanding yourself.
Further more to open your mind Start Meditation.
