I had a stomach virus and I then woke up with a canker sore and soreness under my jaw on the same side like a swollen gland? I was curious as to what I should do? I had 2 blood tests last month for a check up and they were all good so I am assuming its just related to getting the stomach virus.

Probably to be on the safe side ask your doctor to send you to the lab to get the blood tests HSV 1 and HSV 2 (herpes simplex virus 1 and 2). Just to be on the safe side. An initial herpes breakout can really feel like the flu. And herpes is very common these days and is so easy to get. Most people who have it (1 out of every 4 to 5 people in the USA) don't know that they have it because the symptoms are so mild they mistake the symptoms for something else, like the flu or a cold or even stress. Not saying that what you experienced is LIKELY to be herpes, just something to think about.

Okay, here goes... If you had a stomach virus, it probably means you were throwing up, right? Well the things that come from your stomach probably gave you that sore. And your jaw hurts because sometimes depending on where the sore is located it will make your glands swell. Nothing to worry about, its a canker sore, go get some "kanka from a drug store or walmart. Kanka works great.
