If we are to believe books such as the Bible, we are to believe that God spoke personally to certain people. Given the fact that God is Unchanging, doesn't it make sense that God is still speaking to regular people who aren't necessarily leaders of churches, etc.? If so, who are these people?*

*God, in all cases, can simply be substituted with your Divinity of choice.

Your right God speaks to you every day and it sounds to me like
your listening. God by the way fits in where ever it is needed and
can be substituted where ever.

The only persons who spoke to God directly is Adam and Moses.

We know this by whats called the tetragrammaton or the four Hebrew letters found before the word GOD "YHWH" useing the translators diolog in english Gods personal name is Jehovah which he gave to moses at Ex. 6:2-6 and Ps. 83:18 and you will also notice in Genisis 2:4 they use either upper case or lower case capitals to let the reader know that there has been a change of the word God to replace his personal name.

Most Bibles have removed his name and replaced it with Lord God so as to teach the trinity doctrin. But Lord is a title not a name. So readers when they see Lord God or Lord Jesus, it makes it seems as though they are the same person.

But now you run into a big problem at Psalms 110:1 Where it say's " The Lord said unto the Lord , sit at my right hand and I will put your enemies at your feet."

What? Is the Lord talking to him self and going to sit at his own right hand? hardly.

It should say "Jehovah said unto Jesus sit at my right hand...".......

But any way Jehovah God now speaks to us through his written word the Bible today.

Hope this has ben of some help

Sincerely yours,

Any one who is born of God, has an assurance in their spirit, that they can come boldly before the Throne of Grace in hour of need.

Because the blood of the Lamb has washed our sins away. There is only one God who washes our sins away. No other want a be divinity has done that.

There are special ministries that the Lord calls people to. Some are Apostles, some Prophets, some Evangelists, some Pastors and some Teachers. There are gifts given to all born of God, all part of the body of Christ. And one is prayer language. The Holy Spirit is given to all to lead into all Truth and to lead us to comunication with the Father & the Son.

My mom has began to see signs in everything and she believes that God is dealing directly with her. I guess a lot of people would call her crazy and even though she is my mom, I have my doubts. The way the world is right now, I don't know if God is talking to us or giving us the silent treatment for being such bad people.

Well, if you look at who God spoke to throughout the Bible you will know that He used and lifted up very ordinary people. God lifted up the weakest of people so that He would be glorified through them.

Today, I believe God speaks to all His children through His Holy Spirit.

God, I mean the God of Abraham, did speak to certain men ie, Moses.

Since the birth death and Resurrection of Jesus all that changed . Now we live by faith. It is our faith in the cleansing blood of Jesus that give us the faith to go on knowing what God wants: To accept Jesus' blood for our sins.

I am quite certain that said people are not interested in advertising the fact for your amusement or querying. I'm sure they have important work to do and if you need to know, in the grand scheme of things, they will tell you.

God never spoke to anyone, not in the past, not now, not ever. Why? Because a non-existent being can't speak.
