My brother was born in 1970 and only lived 1 hour, mom nor us kids ever got to see him, do you think it is possible that the hospital will have a picture of him in their records or in the autopsy files? If so I am going to request a copy. I know where I work and if a child dies the staff takes a picture so if in the future the family decides they want one, we have one on file for them."

It's always worth a try! I say call the hospital up and see what they can do.

You can ask, but taking pictures was not the typical practice in the 1970's. Be prepared that they might not have anything on file for you.

Ask yourself what good would this do...will it tear your mother up and just satisfy your curiosity?
