Not any old file, from iPod/iTunes.
Seems to be a lot available (eg, Hymn Project) for free and WMA Convert or Audacity for paid ones.

Any recommendations?

I tried alot of the "free" software - Most ended up only converting 30 seconds or less of the song. In order to convert the entire song you'd be prompted to buy the software!! I really only did this to see which software I liked the best.

I finally settled on WMA Convert - Easy to use, preserves all ID Tags and allows you to select compression quality. The price is pretty reasonable too for the basic version and well worth it.
