I just extracted a rar file using winrar, and it worked, except that I'm getting only audio output, no video!How can I correct this?

I have to check what format it is in now. I just know that i extracted it to a folder. How do I know what kind of codecs I need for it to play, and where do I get them?

try using" vlc media player " It literally plays all known multimedia formats on the planet.

Make sure you have the proper codecs installed for that format.

You need to download and install the video codecs - DivX probably.
