To make a long story short..

When I was in rehab a bunch of us women were in a group camping in the desert at night time.. Talking about our belief in a God or Higher Power.. I was the only one who was unsure about God and if He really even existed or heard my prayers and I wanted some kind of reassurance to just 'let me know..'

After I spoke the rest of them women were just thinking or talking quietly and I looked up in the sky and saw a bright ball of light come out from the heavens and shoot across the horizon for a few seconds.. I was so shocked - I know what an airplane or shooting star looks like.. So I felt like this was really a sign from Him letting me know he was really there..

I wasn't hallucinating or anything like that 'cause I was clean for months..

Do you think that it's possible it was a sign from God to me? Many will say it's not.. At any rate, I feel totally blessed 'cause I've seen nothing like that in my life before.

That's what made me believe.

I'd call it a sign from God (or as they like to say in AA--your higher power). And I also had one, not 30 min. after comming from an AA meeting, crossing over a causeway in 1991 that I experianced the same thing (of course not identical) But...The feeling that.... IT'S ALL GONNA BE O.K! The glow, the smile, the peace and serenity that followed. You can't ignore it. You knew that it was HIM! saying:
"I Am here for you. I will be with you always" Just stay with me.
Can't match that to almost nothing else in life! It's for real.....and it's for you....run with it!

If you took it as a sign from God and it had a positive effect on you then it was. God works in strange ways. While you still had that fire in your belly you should start checking out local churches and find one you feel comfortable at. There will be many people in here that will tell you there is no God. Pay them no mind. God and his son Jesus are real. Do some research yourself at http://www.biblegateway.com

Good luck and God Bless you.

That's awesome! Hey, if God wants to "wink" at you, He certainly has the power to do it. Don't let others discourage you. I believe a lot of cynicism about God comes from misinformation or personal biases. Keep reading and doing your own research about God. You won't be let down, I'm sure!

What you might of seen is a meteor streaking across the sky. A pretty sight in a desert sky. In a way, you can thank God for the beautiful stars, sky and world we live in. A direct "sign" for you..? maybe not. But a "sign" that He created a beautiful world for us..? Yes, most definitely.

This was definitely a meteor (shooting star). I've seen hundreds just like that. If it was a sign of anything it would be that your observations were on target.

Who am I to say it wasn't a sign from God? I know God can use whatever means He wants to get your attention. I believe you. God is real and I too have seen His miracles in my own life. God Bless.

I would say that YES it is God. He is wanting and waiting to reveal Himself to you. Ask Him again for another sign. Ask Him to prove Himself real to you. There no greater adventure than knowing the Creator of the Universe!

Faith itself is a gift of God. It is Gods love that draws us to Gods truth. So, yes what you saw could very well be a sign from God just for you.
