first of all you should go to a foot dr and find out what is causing the pain. Then he will tell you the correct shoe to wear.

I am a massage therapist, and I bought a pair of shoes called NAOT, they are made in israel and they are the most comfortable pair of shoes I have ever had in my life. I feel like i'm standing in sand when I wear them, and they are supposed to last like 4-6 years, I kinda doubt that for a shoe, but we will see, so far they are wonderful!!!!....by the way, getting a pedicure, and massage regularly is a nice treat for you feet! try Crocs they are great and very comfy. I know not the most gorgeous thing but, I wore them on my wedding and danced all night long. I usually get sore feet easily from years of dancing,skating and standing in steel toe boots on hard concrete.

Z-Coils. check the internet to find a store near you. they are pretty expensive but you get what you pay for.
