I will not discuss my own personal and ethical views on immigration, but instead point out the obvious, immigration, gay marriage, execution laws... All of those things are not what our modern leaders should be worried about. How about the war, economy? All of the things on the first list just deflect our attention away from what matters, what we need to worry about are things that truly will shape a future america, and worry about lesser things like immigration later.

In fact, I have been flooded with such a problem, I live in AZ. I see Immigrants everywhere, illegal and non illegal, and I pay the taxes, the deal is, I don't care about those problems, let's see someone fix our economy or military, at least see some beneficial changes.

Of course immigration issues shouldn't be stopped, however, we must focus on the larger picture as a nation. We are in a war, immigrants working for us for crap money is hardly a problem so far.

explain to me how you would fix the economy and not fix immigration problems.
LEGAL immigration has a great effect on the USA economy.
Illegal immigration is far reaching, it effects unemployment, the cost of healthcare, the cost and quality of education, burdens on welfare systems, crime rates and of course since terrorists have been found to have planned trying to sneak across the border well it effects the war on terror also.
The immigration problem facing the USA permeates almost every aspect of society and economy.

You would think illegal aliens would be a problem if you lived right across from them and there is a meth lab going on across the street you live. When they live 20+ to a house or an apartment, sanitation for the whole area becomes a problem. Or the crime rate (i.e. THEFT) spikes directly after these people move in and you had things stolen from your property. Or what about the fact that they are loud all night long and refuse to speak English around you because they don't respect you enough? Or the fact that the police officers CAN'T legally arrest the illegal aliens for crap that they have done. When illegal aliens have more rights than citizens, YES, IT IS TIME TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT! The war doesn't affect me directly, the illegal aliens do! The US should never have went to war with Iraq, but we are there now, and we should leave. I DO agree that the economy is inflated and will fall just like the Internet boom.

I agree with the person here who said you are a nihilist. Immigration is extremely important and no less than the other issues. Illegal immigration is severely hurting the economy and everything that makes up our society, such as education, health care, welfare, etc. I worry about the wars, too, but you can't minimize the terrible effects illegal immigration has on our country.

No I definitely have not got here upon that unlawful aliens will help previously than an American will. in fact I definitely have got here upon the different to be real. I had a small electric employer in southern NM and caught twenty or so Illegals stealing my approaches. some help.

The economy is fine and I think we need to be where we are referring to the war. I'm more concerned about the first list except death penalty. The second is not a problem to me. And illegal immigration is not lesser.Big picture you see first hand how they are trying to take over, let's focus on the invasion at home. DUH!

our leaders don't care what happens. did you know america helped put saddam in power? and maybe our government feels we should help those people rebuild. i'm all for legal immigration. after all we are decedents of legal immigrants. don't pass judgment on gays and religion. who are we to judge these people? i'm not god and neither are you.
