KEEP YOUR KITTY INDOORS UNLESS YOU WANT KITTENS!!!
Why are you not wanting her spayed? Are you wanting to breed kitty? Please Consider this if she is NOT a purebred. So many barncats are born and have to be put down because there are so many unwanted cats and dogs.
Do NOT put anything inside kitty please. It won't fix anything other than hurt her. Purchasing cat nip or special food isn't going to do anything either. You WILL have to wait until kitty is out of her cycle.
Do you want her to have kittens? If you are worried about expenses most vets do the procedure very cheap because there are so many unwanted dogs and cats.
Nothing will make her stop meowing unless she is mated or she is fixed. Having her fixed will help poor kitty during this hard time.. She wants to sleep some to honey.
You should schedule an appointment ASAP and tell your vet she is in heat. Be careful femal cats WILL mark there teritories as male cats. You will also start having male cats come around and spary your doors. The will hear kitty and want to help her.
Having your pet spayed will also calm down kitty and she will be more loving. SHe will be sore the fist couple of days but she will sleep it off and you will be better in the long run.
If you do not resolve the issue she will constantly meow. She can also begin spotting and leaving spots around your home. Cat Urine is a VERY hard smell to get rid of. If she hasn't already she will begin spraying with the next couple of heats to come.

Spaying or Neutering Is Good for Your Pet
Spaying and neutering helps dogs and cats live longer, healthier lives.
Spaying and neutering can eliminate or reduce the incidence of a number of health problems that can be very difficult or expensive to treat.
Spaying eliminates the possibility of uterine or ovarian cancer and greatly reduces the incidence of breast cancer, particularly when your pet is spayed before her first estrous cycle.
Neutering eliminates testicular cancer and decreases the incidence of prostate disease.

How to calm a cat in heat:
Equipment:
1 cat in heat
1 Q-tip
Procedure:
Grab wailing, squirming cat and place it on your lap with its hind quarters readily accessible. Chances are the cat will freely offer them, if not the first time this procedure is followed, then certainly each time afterward.
Insert the Q-tip into the cat's vagina. It will be exposed and puffy. Do not insert the Q-tip into the other orifice. Either way the cat will begin to scream, but there is a subtle and audible difference in the scream of satisfaction and the scream of rectal pain. Experiment a little until you can distinguish the two.
Move the Q-tip in and out of the cat's vagina slowly at first, then more rapidly. No need to be gentle, no matter what you do with the Q-tip it beats a barbed cat penis digging around in there.
You are finished when the cat is finished. You will know when the cat is finished because it will either begin immediately to have a cat orgasm, or it will run away with the Q-tip sticking out of its ***. If this happens let it enjoy itself for a few minutes before attempting to retrieve your Q-tip.
That is it, you are done. Enjoy the peace and quiet until the cat flares up again.
What to look for: The cat orgasm that follows this procedure is something the likes of which I have never seen elsewhere. It is a wriggling, leaping, moaning dance of ecstasy that defies any experience of pleasure my mind can even begin to grasp. If humans had orgasms with the intensity of a cat serviced in this way there would be no such thing as war, hunger, capitalism or God.
Background: A cat in heat is, with few exceptions, one of the most irritating things to have living in your home. A cat in heat will follow you around and howl at you in a bone chilling, hideous wail until you are ready just to toss it outside and let it get pounded by the local tom's. After a few days of this torture having to drown a few kittens sounds relaxing. This cat-saving technique was first demonstrated to me by a terminally un-squeemish roomate of years past.

I have the only idea that will work. You must take her to the vet. and get her fixed. Most vets will do it when the cat is in heat. This is the only way you will get any rest. It is the right thing to do for her also. It is part of being a responsible pet owner.

Sorry to say that there is nothing you can do to stop her behavior, but to have her spayed,an animal shelter will usually charge about 30-60 dollars, depend on the location and are usually cheaper than a Vets office.Just call your local animal shelter to ask about the days and times that they do the surgery.

Give your cat her favorite toy and sit on the floor and play with her for awhile. Dont just give her the toy sit and play. Also hold her if she loves to be held and pet her. I also give my cat her favorite treat after playing and holding and soon she is fast asleep.

tons of kat nip, or some special food (pet store). Could also try playing with a laser pen or flash light with it until it tires out. Last option is...
