That faith is a self-perpetuating delusion.

Since one can never know if what they have faith in is real, one can never know if it's actually their own willpower that enables them to achieve those things they ascribe to faith.

That the so-called god is an imaginary concept.
Once that is accepted, all the rest of the nonsense that is attached also falls to pieces.

Why can't these people accept reality? After all, there is no more.

If I could only teach them one thing, it would be basic logic. With proper understanding of basic logic, they could discover everything else for themselves.

The ability to live a good life without God and maintain optimism for an afterlife of some kind.
Because in reality, none of us really knows what happens to our consciousness when we die. There is always hope.

To not take everything so seriously. And to look for answers within themselves, to not always look to one book for instructions on how to live their lives.

Btw, I'm so glad you have a non-alcoholic drink. I've already accused Jim and The Dude of trying to turn me into an alcoholic.

Stop being hypocritical already!! Stop all the undercover sinning and be who you really are. All that fooling isn't fooling anyone except maybe themselves. If they believe in God, they'd know God knows and sees all.

Oh, and the condemning everyone that doesn't agree with them trip needs to stop. They don't know anymore than the rest of us. If they have a hotline to God or Jesus, they need to share that line once & for all and end the debate already.
