My BIL is in the National Guard and told us that the troops in Iraq had asked Starbucks to send them some coffee and they refused to do it even after they offered to pay for it. Has anyone else heard of this...did it actually happen? I'd really like to know.

just to set the checklist right away. I definitely have a pal who's an assistant supervisor at a Starbuck's, and that they do have a software for helping the troops. She is in fee of this technique at her keep, and he or she shipped a bunch of coffee and supplies out to us the different week.

It's an urban legend. Starbucks has supported our troops serving in Iraq and Afghanistan, and prior to that also supported troops serving in Bosnia.

According to the Dept of Defense, Starbucks donated 50,000 lbs of coffee to soldiers in Iraq, & Afghanistan. It sounds like support to me.
