I'm sorta in between, wondering which look I should go for. (by really skinny, I don't mean like anorexic, I just mean like model skinny. and by athletic, I just mean like a runners body, not muscular.) Oh, and also, is a 6 pack on a girl attractive? I kinda have one.

I'm not a guy but have experience in "appealing to the opposite sex"....I'm a model so looks are definitely important.
I have noticed that in the real world (not in school), men prefer a thin yet curvacious woman. So if you are 5'3" a size 1-3, thin but not too thin, fit, you'll also have extra meat on your bones to give you a woman's body.
As far as muscles, I have noticed that men like a flat stomach but when it become too defined they seem to lose interest. I don't know why exactly, maybe because the body starts looking too masculine.
I'm basing this off years of modeling and pageants. The looks that typically win are the thin, curvy, softer bodied women. The ones that never win or rarely win are hard bodies or anorexic thin.
Of course there are men out there that love anorexic thin or man-muscle women, so it really all varies.

Definitely athletic! People (women especially) are naturally supposed to carry a certain amount of bodyfat to be healthy. Women who are "model skinny" don't have that.
Athletic is the way to go. No matter if it's a runner's body type, swimmer's body type, a more muscular physique, six pack abs, no six pack abs . . .

i dont prefer really skinny girls, i like them to be in shape but if they are skin and bones and have no meat on them its unattractive, id rather them have an athletic body than a skinny body, have a little muscle and athleticism too it....too skinny looks terrible.....and u shud go for w/e look u think looks best, but for me i hate when girls are too s kinny, i hate fat too, but id rather have them be normal weight or athletic then really skinny, and yes a six pack is hot on a girl, but if u dont have one that doesnt mean i wont be or other guys wont be attracted to u or ur body, hope this helped

I prefere my women in between, maybe a little on the athletic side. I personally don't find six packs extremely attracting on women, but a flat stomach is great.

a 6 pack on a girl is revolting, no offence but i mean it. and those skinny italian models who weren't allowed to walk the catwalk, they are seriously mentally disturbed. who in the world would want to starve themselves just to look beautiful. a beautiful girl doesn't necessarily need to be skinny nor athletic, it's just how she looks at herself that shows her real beauty.

me (I'm a guy) - I like fit/athletic -I think most guys like women that are healthy. These girls that are super skinny and there isn't any color in their face (i.e. malnourished, gaunt) aren't attractive to me
I think things like a person's smile, personality, eyes, intelligence, what kind of person they are - usually matter more.
every guy is different. Sometimes what women think is attractive men don't and what women think is unattractive men do. It varys with every guy. Don't ask me why.

i have to go with athletic because i mean if you have a girl who is just really skinny then they're really frail and stuff but if you have a girl with some muscle then you can play with them a little more, i'm not implying in a sexual way but i mean you can squeeze em and you can playfully wrestle with them and stuff like that

I am old fashioned! I like them to be like Sally Fields in Smoky and the Bandit.Although she is 11 years older than me I still find her hot for an old lady. Then a gen I am a old man.

By far curves are more beautiful. I was once so skinny that the smallest pair of nylons bagged off my ankles. I am at a good weight and I am happy. Exercise is the best.
