Everytime I go and try something new someone says oh thats not healthy for you like quaker chewy granol bars or kellogs cereal products/bars. What is something way healthier than just snacking on junk food that can help me lose weight in the stomach area???? and did you try it and lose weight?

Since I quit high fructose corn syrup, msg, and hydrogenated oils, healthy snacks on the go seem to be very hard to find. There are some snack bars such as Luna that are free from these additives. Just have to read your labels. You can safely eat a small chocolate bar if there is no hfcs. Luckily for us, there are more and more organic health foods showing up at the food stores. Might be wise to shop ahead and pick some up for during the week so you won't be tempted by the bad ones.

Since I quit these additives (about 2 years now) I have lost weight, my skin looks younger and I have loads of energy. I just have to recommend this to everyone.

Please don't leave out healthy foods such as honey for fear of calories. Honey speeds up your metabolism and works wonders for your body. It is a great substitute for white sugar. Use it in place of sugar even when cooking.

Add apple cider vinegar to your diet as well. It will make you skin look great and keep you from getting sick and is an awesome diet aid as it helps you loose weight too.

Stomach area specific loss is not going to happen. This area slims down as a natural function of overall weight loss through aerobic exercise. Crunches will develop abs that give tone to the area, but will not reduce fat in and of themselves.

Enzymes are the key, and these are only available through live foods like fresh fruit and veggies. Some great snacks that will satisfy your sweet tooth without adding fat are: fresh strawberries, blueberries, grapefruit, snow pea pods, watermelon, raw unsalted almonds.

Water is swell for weight loss, but ice-cold purified water works best, forcing your body to burn calories as it heats the water up.

Investigate nutrient-dense foods, and make them and live foods the vast majority of your diet. Empty calories are your undoing, as they are quickly stored as fat. Learn to hate them, as they can kill you. (examples: "healthy" snack bars, white bread, sweetened cereal, soda)

Get some vanilla protein powder and make fruit smoothies with frozen berries mix from the grocery store. 1 scoop of protein powder and 1 cup of frozen mixed berries and a half of cup of water. Not only does it taste good its only 150 calories and fairly filling. You can also make freezer bars with it too. Jerky might be another good snack. Cottage cheese.

Cucumbers / Zuchini dipped in Italian dressing.

CARROTS.

may sound gross, but they're pretty addictive over time. I ate nothing but carrots for about 2 days and lost 5 pounds, but the side effect is that I'm turning a slight orange color.

also, BREAKFAST CEREAL.

Apples. Each morning I use an apple cutter to slice an apple and put it in a baggie in my purse. It really helps keep my eating under control and my weight in check. If I want to eat something bad, I convince myself to eat an apple first. It works!
