Actually, it probably will. Though most gods have been explained out of existance by science(gods of fire, the sun, the moon, etc.), there are two questions science will likely never be able to answer. How did all this start, and what happen after we die. Those two unanswerable questions will be the fuel that will keep the religious fires burning.

Depends on how long the Information Age lasts. If it outlasts our racing appointment with global catastrophe (statistically speaking we appear to be waaaay overdue for a massive asteroid collision or a few supervolcano eruptions) then no, it won't. However, if something destroys our technology base in the next 50 to 100 years then religion will probably keep right on going.

Christianity has survived all sort of persecution and hatred. what makes you think the "information age" has even a small chance?

No. People will start to question things that don't make sense. Religion will be the first thing to go.

i think the information age will do everything in its power to stamp out religeon .. and that is one of the signs of the times ...
